Very short Uber rides to the FQ, CBD, Marigny, and anywhere in the Bywater. Garden district close as well. The lively music clubs of Frenchmen street are a 15 minute walk away and the French Quarter is 20 minutes. 3-6 Min by car, 5-10min by bike, it may take 20+ min to walk, but it's still very close by, depends on how fast you walk :) There are two bus lines (the 88 and the 5) running towards the French Quarter nearby, both running to the Canal and near the St Charles streetcars.
